What are your duties?
- As a Shot Blaster / Painter you are responsible for the proper conservation of steel structures, containers, piping, machine components, etc.
- You ensure that the metal parts are correctly shot blasted so that a proper coating can be applied afterwards.
- Updating, sanding, degreasing, and masking/covering of other parts are also part of your duties.
- Conserving the metal parts consists of applying multiple coats of paint in the correct RAL color and according to the proper recipe.
- You check your own work and choose the right tools. You take initiative in solving problems and/or come up with improvement proposals.
- In addition, you provide support for various tasks in the workshop and/or externally during assembly work.
- You work in a small team, so besides your core duties you perform ad hoc tasks loading and unloading items for customers and suppliers and maintaining a good working environment.
What do we expect from you?
- It is advantageous if you have experience as a shot blaster / painter, but candidates with good motivation, the willingness to learn, and affinity with surface treatment are also invited to respond.
- Furthermore, it is advantageous if you have a VCA and forklift certificate, but these can also be obtained through us.
